Could it be that we must stoop lower, bowing down in all things to receive the best gifts? Those who are humble, loving and kind… Those are the ones who obtain joy.
“God created the world out of nothing,
And as long as we are nothing,
He can make something out of us.”
— Martin Luther
I could stay. I could be comfortable and pretend I don’t hear the sound of battle in the distance and horizons untouched. I could block off the longing for the better way and close my eyes to the need for someone to lead the way. It would probably be easier, but I cannot. I was made to blaze the open trail and fire the cannons of disturbance to the social norm and well-oiled machines. I was born to sing a different song, and call all who will hear to see there’s more, there’s doors to unlock, and skies to soar in. I will war, and I will with all my heart. I won’t quit.
I won’t stay in the comfort. I will go; I will follow the fire and laugh in the adventure of the victory.
Prints
Each print is produced on premium cold-pressed watercolor paper, carefully selected to replicate the texture and character of the original artwork.
“All who are thirsty, come to the water! Are you penniless? Come anyway—buy and eat! Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk. Buy without money—everything’s free! Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best, fill yourself with only the finest.” Isaiah 55:1
“He led me out of the desert,
Brought me into His streams,
River of living water,
Turned my bitter into sweet,
And all my burdens are lifted.
You took the shackles off my feet,
There’s no sound louder than a captive set free,
So let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
Sing of His promises evermore,
Pour out your thankfulness, let it overflow
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so”
