ABOUT MY WORK

Anna’s work is created as an offering.

Each painting and written reflection is created slowly, attentively, and in conversation with the Holy Spirit. I approach both watercolor and words as sacred spaces, places where presence matters more than performance and listening comes before expression. What emerges is not meant to instruct or explain, but to invite: into stillness, into courage, into remembrance.

Watercolor, with its fluidity and surrender, mirrors the way I experience faith. I work with movement of water rather than against it, allowing layers to emerge softly, often holding tension between clarity and mystery. Open skies, quiet landscapes, delicate botanicals, and abstract forms become visual prayers, spaces where strength and tenderness coexist, where hope appears gently, and where the unseen is given room to breathe.

My writing flows from the same place. Often prophetic, always reflective, it gives language to inner journeys we carry but struggle to name: the ache and beauty of transformation, the choice to step beyond comfort, the assurance of being deeply loved, and the courage required to follow fire into the unknown. Words and images work together, not as explanations of one another, but as companions, each deepening the resonance of the other.

Rather than offering answers, my work holds space. It acknowledges the battlefield and the quiet pasture, the unfolding, and the waiting. It speaks to those standing at thresholds, those learning to trust again, those whose stories are still more even when the path forward feels uncertain.

My art and writing exist to remind the viewer and reader that they are seen, held, invited, and never walking alone.
